I acquired my graphics card today for the rig and have been facing several issues. Despite trying all possible solutions, the drivers aren’t installing properly, the card isn’t showing up in Device Manager, and I suspect it may not be functioning correctly. This reminds me of the problems I experienced with my integrated graphics before.

Ensure all components are properly seated; I’ve had similar problems before. If reseating doesn’t help, inspect the PCIe pins for damage—computers can be tricky to troubleshoot. Also, check if your GPU fans are spinning.

I also tried reinstalling the card, but I didn’t check the pins yet—I’ll do that soon.

Review your system info to find out what devices are linked. Installing a GPU driver can be tricky if Windows thinks the HDMI connection isn’t working, especially with an HDMI dp plugged in. Are you relying on IGPLU?

You're seeing the HDMI connection work on your PC but not showing up in Device Manager.

You see the message indicating a compatible NVIDIA controller with X16 support in the PCIe lane.

It seems unusual. Your setup is utilizing the GPU yet it isn’t reflected in your device manager. A fake 650 Ti is possible. Could you share a screenshot of your device manager showing the GPU?
