I'm feeling really frustrated and upset, like I'm at Sith level with rage. It's like the character Sargaras from WoW or Unicron from Transformers. My Skytech Arch Angel 3 came as a gift from my parents in 2020 for helping them out. Since then, I've added another drive, saved some cash for a new GPU, and found a listing on Ebay for an RX 6600. The problem is it doesn't fit properly into the graphics slot—it looks crooked. Plus, I can't send a signal. I searched everywhere for compatibility info, both about fitting and working correctly. It seems like it should work fine. I updated my BIOS to the latest version, but still can't get it to function right. I just wanted better performance and a newer GPU so I could enjoy some fast-paced games. Right now I'm trying to contact the seller, who looks decent, but my main concern is whether this RX 6600 will actually fit in my motherboard (PCI or otherwise). The GTX1660 it would replace seems off, like something isn't right.
It came with a GTX16606 that works perfectly. The RX6600 seems to have an issue—it doesn’t just click in. I applied some pressure and checked alignment, but it still doesn’t fit properly.
