Hi, I’ve got a PC with an i7-7700, 16GB RAM, and a WD Black 1TB SSD. I installed the game using free code, set everything to Max settings, but performance is still terrible—can’t hit 60 FPS even with my GTX1080Ti. The monitor is 24" at 1080p 60Hz, which seems to be the issue. I switched the graphics setting to low and it didn’t help. My GPU is making a lot of noise, especially during gameplay. All updates are current, but the benchmark numbers look okay. The history shows poor performance. Any advice?
The main problem was handling shadows. Adjust shadows to medium, keep far shadows off, leave grass on, but raise the setting to very high. Disable turf effects—it really boosts performance. Everything else runs at 7700k with a GTX 970 and I’m seeing 55+ fps.
Also missed adjusting the texture settings from ultra to very high due to insufficient RAM. I’m hoping the upcoming updates include better optimization passes.
Additionally, with ULTRA, my GTX1080Ti was experiencing a severe coil whine noise.
I have a system with 6700k, 4.5 cores, 16gb RAM, 1080ti overclocked, 140 cores, and 400MB of memory. I run everything at full capacity except for AA and shadows reduced by one level. At 3440x1440 resolution, I see around 50fps, usually between 55 and 65. I expect it to stay above 60 in your setup.
