I purchased cable extensions for the 24 pin CPU and GPU, but now the PC crashes and freezes completely. Could the faulty GPU extensions be the cause?

Without the cable extensions, the system should work fine, probably.

It's best to stick with the original PSU to GPU cables for safety.

Consider using the original cables first. If problems persist, it’s likely the cable extensions themselves are the issue. Many others have faced similar challenges with GPU and motherboard cable extensions, leading to freezes, blue screens, and crashes—particularly with cheaper options. I won’t use any cable extensions going forward.
