I have removed the VPN and initiated another network reset. If that doesn’t resolve the issue, my next choice might be a full Windows reset, though I’m not keen on doing that (would need to re-download all games, apps, and device software).

Consider checking Device Manager for items in the Network Adapters section. It might be easier to remove everything there and let Windows reinstall everything.

Sure thing. This might seem odd, but it could be useful to try another VPN from a different company. I think many offer free trials. Their tools or devices might work more smoothly and avoid issues during setup.

You could try using TCPOptimizer; it might adjust the configuration to default Windows settings. Just keep in mind I haven't tested it recently. Edit: It includes a Windows Default option, though I'm uncertain whether it will clear problematic settings.
