Yesterday I switched to an AMD platform using Intel hardware, but Windows gets stuck on version 20H2 and won’t update. I reformatted and reinstalled it again, yet the issue remains. This hasn’t happened before with my old Intel MOBO or my friends’ Intel laptops. When Windows tried to update, all AMD updates failed (Infinity Fabric and others). It keeps showing “Your device is missing security and quality fixes” and doesn’t reach version 21H2. I’m trying to figure out what’s causing this problem.
Checked out this solution. Download and reinstall Windows 10 1H2 from Microsoft's site.
