Hello everyone, let me explain my setup: i7 4790k from Asus Maximus Hero VII, GSKill Sniper, 32GB Corsair H80i, GeForce RTX 2060, 6Gb SSD. Storage includes 1x240gb OS, 1x500gb games, and 1x1TB music drive. The HDD is 1x1TB for other uses. I use an ASUS Strix 27" curved monitor mostly for gaming, but also for audio editing (not heavily), and I run a CPU-heavy app called ROON for music. Playing Skyrim with many mods keeps me around 57-60 FPS, except in dense forests or cities where it drops to 45 FPS. Ultra runs at 50-60 FPS with some adjustments, and I can play RDR2 smoothly. For F1 2019 I’m fine. I don’t have deep technical expertise, so my main concerns are: am I hitting a bottleneck? What upgrades would help? Because of inflation and currency changes here in Argentina, I’m trying to future-proof my PC before prices rise too much—we saw a 35% drop in the dollar exchange rate this week. Thanks for your help!
The screen operates at 144Hz, but I didn’t note that detail earlier.
