In short, I'm building Player Unknown's Battlegrounds in Unity. Here are a few points: it should be free, mostly self-developed, and it won't be a direct PUBG copy. I didn’t want to hint at its intended style. I’ve been using Unity well but have run into some scripting issues lately. I’m open to feedback—please feel free to share what you think about the gameplay mechanics. Your insights will help me improve and understand what players enjoy. Thanks for your time and support!
cool weapons that everyone could use right away, no realistic details just simple hip firing. It was a fast-paced deathmatch with no loot boxes or skins. The community stayed positive without trolls. It wasn’t PvP focused and it had a fun moment when you hit 7 kills in a row. Only 1GB after Update 99 made it the best game I’ve ever played—great times!
This project is definitely in the mix, regardless of the outcome. I intended to try it out—I really enjoy the UT announcer. Since I can't make it profitable, I might add a PayPal link or explore Patreon if it gains traction. Probably won’t be huge, but optimization helped keep file sizes reasonable, staying under 2 GB. Community support depends on gameplay style, and I aim for a more relaxed pace rather than fast action. I’m inspired by games like PUBG. Thanks for your thoughts! I’m curious to hear what others think about the game.
3klicksphilip created a video about CS:GO's take on that concept, but I’ll remember that. The main point is I’m uncertain if it’s straightforward since the game already handles weapons on the map. You can respawn, and if I don’t land a real job before finishing this, I’ll likely start one anyway—after all, why not? I’m keeping my income steady.
