Your IP might be blocked. If you didn’t pay for it, how can you get single-player access?

You're referring to a different solo game unrelated to Fortnite. That's why I'm confused about my ban. Using Cheat Engine requires opening the actual game's EXE file. I didn't do that for Fortnite. I also haven't used Cheat Engine for Fortnite.

I never relied on the program to gain any edge in the game. Having the cheat engine file on my PC didn’t automatically get me banned—it just meant I had access, not an advantage. It didn’t run Fortnite at all. I don’t play Fortnite.

They seem to handle you the same way they do with predators. He’s engaging in infidelity while playing other games, so he might try to do the same here—keep him out of it. Just as we exclude predators from areas where people are vulnerable.

I've played CS since 1.5 and my Steam account is 14 years old, never getting banned. I don't cheat—I strongly oppose cheating in multiplayer games. Using Cheat Engine on my PC for a single-player game shouldn't result in a ban. They should understand that if they found me using a program during a Fortnite match, it doesn't make sense to ban me just because of the software on my system.

He mentioned specific restrictions about software use and gaming rules. It seems he was clarifying what actions are prohibited under the license terms.

They view it this way. You don’t. It’s their system. Their guidelines. That’s the key point. You didn’t contribute, so they have nothing owed to you.

As suggested, you can alter your IP address through the modem admin panel or by resetting the device—there are guides available online. After that, you might want to set up a fresh Fortnite profile. Just remember, avoid using cheats, or your new account could get banned.
