Unlock every chest in all areas and complete all side missions. Spend every resin, and your map progress reaches 100%. Chests provide plenty of experience points.

I use my resins for crafting and building, and the chests are located in specific areas of the map.

anything works, but aim to conquer domains three times weekly—they’re the most effective for your goals, covering every corner and crevice

I’ve been spending a lot of time in Minecraft, especially with the 1.17 update that was released a few months back. I just started a fresh world and still have plenty to construct. Everyone has their own style, but my approach is focused on automating as much as possible so I can secure enough resources for my projects. One area I struggle with is building a solid foundation; I often jump from one task to another—like finishing a farm and immediately thinking about the next—and forget about laying down a proper base. I’ve already collected all the materials for a big storage setup (though maybe not yet with redstone), so I should begin working on it soon. So far I’ve set up: an iron farm, a food farm (carrots, potatoes, beets, bread), a witch farm (for redstone, glowstone, gunpowder), an enderman farm (for experience to fix tools), and a gold farm (which finished yesterday, giving me the best golden carrots). I also have a village trading hall for exchanging items. Still, there’s a lot more to plan—more farms, various structures—and I keep hearing on YouTube that these farms help reduce the need for constant gameplay. While I appreciate that idea, I think they just streamline the process so I only focus on what I want. A big pain point is when I start building and realize I’m missing essential items. It’s easy to gather everything by hand, but farms let me collect everything in one place without interrupting my flow. That’s how I’ve played Skyrim lately. Install Skyrim (and the updates), add a bunch of mods, create a new character, and keep repeating the mod installation until I decide to stop.

I’m not that dull, so I switched to World of Tanks... eleven years ago. Played Battlefield 4 yesterday, but I need to dive back into the action.

I have several upcoming projects. 1. I began the Mass Effect remaster set, wrapped up Mass Effect 1, but paused soon after launching 2. 2. I launched Crash Bandicoot remakes, went through 1 and 2, then stopped before 3. 3. I finished Mario Odyssey technically, but still have a long way to go. 4. I resumed Assassin's Creed, played 2 and Brotherhood, and am currently on Revelations. Likely to pause there after finishing it and return to Mass Effect 2. (I plan to replay all via Syndicate except Rogue). 5. I started New World, spent a few hours last week. I’ve hit a point where multiplayer games are hard to enjoy alone—Apex is tired—and New World seems promising for everyone.

The 'Caves and Cliffs' patch is divided into two sections. Part 1 - 1.17 is already available, while Part 2 - 1.18 is scheduled for release within the next month. 1.17 introduced new features, whereas 1.18 will bring significant cave upgrades, biome changes, and a wider height range. It's expected to replace the Bedrock at the bottom of other world with Deepslate, a block similar to Stone from 1.17, allowing for deeper worlds. The effectiveness of this change remains to be seen. One concern is that I currently have a complete world, which I don't want to lose, yet I also need to incorporate the new elements in 1.18, creating a challenging decision.
