It seems like you're expressing some mixed feelings about the game. While it might be decent in certain areas, overall it falls short. I try to stay neutral and avoid any bias, especially since it's not RE4. Just wanted to share my thoughts without leaning too heavily on personal memories. If you have more details, let me know!
Flawless Wide Screen link provided. No download yet, but I’ve saved it for later. I’m planning to test it once available. Other options like CheatEngine are also appearing online.
Alien Isolation has been enjoyable at first, but I begin to appreciate the darker side of it.
The aspect ratio is indeed fixed at 21:9, which is quite notable for a Bethesda game.
Happy to skip the cost. It runs smoothly overall. My frame rate stays around 70fps, but it drops to about 12fps in most areas. The GPU is working at full capacity, using only 1.8GB of VRAM. I managed to get Shadow Of Mordor running at roughly 50fps and Alien Isolation at around 90fps without any stutters. This game, though, just underperforms.
You can restrict FPS at 30 and 60, yet enable it beyond 60 if needed. However, there are bugs and no longer support. See the forum thread for details.
I noticed some favorable comments about Ubisoft in this discussion. Halt. It’s clear they’re notorious, and spending your money now would be a mistake. If you must play one of their titles, consider buying a used copy or hold off until they offer a poor digital deal. As for The Evil Within, a locked FPS isn’t worth it.
