Sorry this is a little to new for me and i have never gotten this message before. So i am currently on Windows 11 pro 23H2 (i just did a windows update a few mins ago) It just now went to 23H2 but i’ve seen people say they are on 24H2. I’m kinda worried at the moment but idk if maybe its a bug or idk. I wonder if this kind of thread has been happening lately. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

It was mentioned before on 22H2?
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us...63...94157c3e9e
And currently 23H2?
If yes, everything is okay.
The "End of service" message applies to that particular version, not your full Windows license.

I’m not sure if the recent updates show 3/27/24 it was 22H2 and 4/10/24 it went to 23H2, but why am I missing the latest? Under Feature updates it says “Windows 11, version 23H2 successfully installed on 3/28/24”. It’s strange since I update my Windows every day, which seems odd. There’s an update icon with a red or white exclamation point, and the message says “get the newer version of Windows to stay up to date.” Should I wait for Windows to prompt me to update? I was also worried because reading “version” made me think it was Windows 11 in general. What you mean is whether “23H2” refers to a specific part of Windows or just the version number?

Right, not the whole Windows license.
Updates are not rolled out to everyone at the same time.
My main system wants to go to 23H2 just in the last day.
I'll probably let it do that tomorrow.

I believe the latest Windows update is being delayed on many devices because of compatibility issues with other software.

That makes sense. I'll just need to keep checking until it tells me 24H2 again. I'm assuming I'll have to look for that in future updates. Thanks for the clarification—it really helped!

Don't worry about checking constantly.
It'll handle it eventually.

Yes, similar to hardware compatibility issues.

For 24H2, yes, I believe this is valid.

No, other running processes are interfering with the OS. One such process is Easy Anti Cheat, which seems to have problems with the update. Microsoft has stopped allowing automatic download and installation of updates until the issue is fixed. You can still force the update, though that might not be the best idea.
