Using slmgr /xpr retrieves information, while slmgr /dli displays details like "VOLUME_KMSCLIENT channel" in the description.

Your Windows was set up using a volume license, not a retail key. If the repair shop activated it for you, they likely used a volume license key rather than a retail/OEM key. Obtain a fresh retail license key and in the activation menu shown in your screenshot, select "Change" and enter the new key to activate with a retail license. The license will then become a permanent retail key. Your files remain safe.

You might be able to start using it with a 10-license key, though I’d avoid taking chances. Microsoft has made activation stricter for older keys. Still, you can often find affordable Windows 11 keys on eBay.

If it has to authenticate against a KMS, and it can't reach that server anymore, there's a short grace period before Windows starts running as though there's no license (watermark, no customization, etc).

I really don't understand. I've avoided Windows 11 as much as possible. It might be wise to explore it before buying a new license. Someone else may have more details to share.

The keys I possess are MAK, possibly explaining why I haven't noticed any expiration dates.
