You've just completed your Windows 10 upgrade and are considering a fresh installation. There seems to be a way to perform a clean install now, especially since you're on the first wave of updates. The process might involve using tools like Windows Installer or a recovery media to guide you through the steps. Checking for updated installation options in the settings or system restore records could also help.

Check if the system is around 8 GB. Navigate to the PC settings, select update and recovery, proceed to recovery mode, and choose to remove everything before reinstalling Windows.

I discovered this feature in Windows 10. However, since I used Windows 7 before, I’m unsure how it will affect me. Will I need to reinstall Windows using an external drive, or will everything be erased except the operating system? I’m currently performing this action.

Windows will restart on its own, no external device required.
