If you've replaced your motherboard and your license is OEM, it's typical that Windows gets disabled. This happens because the system's motherboard ID stored on the activation servers doesn't match your actual hardware ID. You should contact Microsoft and activate it over the phone.

Yes, I'm familiar with this. But since it's an upgrade to Windows 10, things are now different. I've already spoken to them and they advised me to reinstall Windows 7/8/8/1 and upgrade the motherboard.
