you didn't specify the exact command you entered, but it looks like a ping request to 8.8.8.8 with the -t option.

Generally, any programs appearing in Task Manager will be listed. In the "Apps" section, you'll find the running applications, while "Background processes" show drivers and services operating independently. Clicking "Startup apps" reveals which programs are permitted to launch automatically when the computer starts. Items marked "Enabled" are active, change them to "Disable," and restart the system to test.

It seems there might be some confusion. Besides Opera GX, nothing appears to affect your Wi-Fi. The only issue seems to be with the adapter. I'm sorry I can't assist further. ┐(‘~`;)┌ I wish you could resolve it eventually. Take care. Cheers! (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧

Checked the ping to 8.8.8.8, confirmed your internet connection is active. The issue lies with finding your router's IP address—it’s not as straightforward. Use Ipconfig to locate your IPv4 address instead of the default. For pinging your router, enter 192.168.178.1.

What altered things two weeks ago? Are you aware of the signal strength and how it shifts when the connection drops? Do other devices connected via WLAN also face disruptions? Perhaps you could use an Ethernet cable for testing and later take it out. Still experience interruptions when your PC is near the access point? After bringing it closer, you might try testing with a cable...

This indicates a weak Wi-Fi signal, anything below 2 is unacceptable. When you test connectivity to the router, the issue lies not with your internet but with the connection itself. Improve signal strength, adjust router placement, consider using a different Wi-Fi device, and try purchasing one that you can return if needed. It’s a smart approach to check for hardware problems with your Wi-Fi setup.

My computer is really budget-friendly, which is why the ping stays high most of the time. The Wi-Fi card isn’t doing well, but I discovered a solution that actually helped. Just give it some time and it should work again—probably will, but I’m waiting now. My Wi-Fi chip seems to have a way of fixing itself.

Maybe it varies with the weather, or a device generated interference and for some reason it ceased...
