Hello Forum, according to the title, after exporting in Movie Studio 13 Platinum my video appears blurry compared to when I rendered with Windows Media Player. I suspect there might be an issue with my settings. I record at 1080p at 60 frames per second, using 40Mbps via ShadowPlay. When I begin the project, I set it to 60Hz NTSC and AVCHD at 1920x1080-60i, then render by choosing AVCHD. Thanks for your feedback and I’m a beginner, but I’m trying my best!

Was es nicht gefällt, wie die Linien sich verflechten. Hast du vor der Erstellung eine bestimmte Bitrate oder Dateigröße festgelegt?

You're just starting out, that's okay. No need to worry about complex settings. It's fine if you haven't adjusted much yet.

60i is attempting to increase the frame rate from 30fps to 60fps, but because your video runs at 60fps, it might be downmixing to 30 and then upscaling—this could affect quality. Native 60p output is recommended. What bitrate are you getting? Do you have an option for MP4 instead of AVCHD?

Choose the setting for 60 frames per second and ensure the MP4 format is available.

Please specify the format you'd like to begin with, as there isn't an MP4 option available.

I can help identify the available options, but I don’t have the ability to take screenshots. Let me know if you’d like a description of the interface or guidance on navigating it.

By default, Sony AVC is used for MP4 files and comes standard with Movie Studio. If it behaves like Sony Vegas, you should be able to either use an existing template or create a new one during rendering—preferably a fresh one. Choose a resolution of 1920*1280, set the frame rate to around 59.94 fps, and make sure it’s marked as Progressive. Then pick the Sony AVC encoder. Adjust the bitrate in Sony AVC, as this can affect pixelation along with interlacing. Personally, I rely on the x264vfw implementation of the h.264 (mpeg4) codec. You can observe my setup for 1080p at 30fps when uploading to YouTube, and you should achieve a similar result.
