I purchased this RAM model, https://www.newegg.com/corsair-32gb-ddr5...QXZEX0J3RQ. I’m curious about its compatibility with my AMD build. My friend mentioned it’s designed for Intel XMP but says it won’t work on my AMD motherboard (MSI Gaming and WiFi Ready) and my Ryzen 5 7600X.
They'll shift to the more flexible DOCP option that's built-in with most current RAM modules. No. It's mainly due to AMD and Intel splitting their "platform-optimized" DOCP approach. Purchasers aren't always experts right away—be gentle with them.
It's really funny, I'm just starting out with computer building, sorry.
