I recently assembled a new setup a few weeks back, but my mice aren't functioning. I suspect the issue lies with Windows because they operate in BIOS but fail in Windows 10. It seems like a driver problem, though it appears some drivers are missing; whenever I attempt an update, it reports that Windows can't install the drivers. I've restarted the system and tested with various mice. Also, my USB keyboard and headset are working fine.

I'm testing a standard wired mouse that functions well on my laptop, and I'm also using a Logitech m185 wireless version which works just fine.

It wasn't included with my Raspberry Pi, but both mice functioned properly yesterday.

Verify the presence of your mouse in Device Manager. If found, right-click it and select Update Driver Software. In the new window, click Search Automatically for updated driver software to check if Windows 10 offers improved drivers.

I've already tried that and it indicates it can't install the drivers. I haven't experienced any issues for about three weeks running Windows 10.
