The earlier versions of Alienware were excellent, but currently they cut corners on components such as power supplies and opt for inferior parts.

Similar to any other OEM, it costs more than a DIY build. However, it comes from Dell, ensuring quality and durability.

I haven’t touched any of their desktops, but I’ve owned around four Alienware laptops over the years. Each one has been solid—my M18X still handles a 2-year-old well. I didn’t notice any bad power supplies, though honestly, I’m not a big fan of PSUs. They tend to fail, but they’re usually easy to swap out or upgrade, and they should come with a warranty.

This idea is debatable. If issues arise, you're left with poor support that's hard to grasp.

I find it annoying how everyone constantly criticizes Alienware for no reason. It’s meant to be both a console and a PC, so treat it accordingly. At $550 you get something better than an XBONE and PS4, why complain? It’s also a solid starting point for building a PC if you don’t want to use it as a full system.

It feels like a typical Alienware offering—overpriced and packed with generic components. The cost breakdown shows 10% for generic parts, 50% for quality pieces they can’t cut corners on, and 40% for the brand name.

It offers comparable results to existing consoles, yet is smaller in size and priced similarly. While it lacks the massive form factor of quad swag titans, it still meets expectations. Its offerings are ideal for helping console gamers transition to PC gaming.

I appreciate the design, as long as it doesn’t slow down or be too noisy.

This setup with G3258 and 750Ti provides everything required to take down the console.
