I possess an MSI Ventus 2070 with 2070 Super, 2700x600 resolution, 16GB G.Skill AEGIS DDR4 3000MHz RAM. It runs ASUS B450M A CMS on a 900p monitor at 60Hz. Despite this setup, I achieve an average of 46 fps on AC Odyssey. That's exactly what you said!

I’m a clown in the world of PC knowledge, but this build turned out simple. It doesn’t overheat, though—it’s fully utilizing the GPU while only needing about 40% CPU power. Honestly, it was a breeze!

You're experiencing performance issues where the game runs at 900p but only achieves 46 frames per second. This often happens with outdated or improperly configured settings.

Just stick to the highest options if that's the intention.

It seems the game is quite challenging. I'm not sure if it offers settings like "Render target, render resolution etc." which adjusts quality by rendering at a higher resolution and then scaling it down. That could make the game feel much faster.

It seems the issue lies with the game's rendering rather than your system. To improve performance, you might consider reducing the graphics settings.

You noted that your GPU is operating at full capacity, indicating graphics configurations are elevated, resulting in reduced frame rates.

This aligns well with what I expected. I've been trying to figure out why this occurred all day, but your clarification seems accurate. Thanks!

Performed some research and you might want to reduce Volumetric Clouds for a noticeable FPS increase. Depth of Field and Ambient Occlusion also impact performance. You don’t need to disable them completely—just lower their settings slightly and see how it affects your gameplay. Edited January 14, 2020 by Samfisher
