Details: Ryzen 5900X Asus Rog X570-F gaming board 32 GB Corsair Vengeance RGB RAM Corsair RM850X power unit MSI Suprim X 3080 LHR H100i featuring RGB fans Samsung Evo 970 1TB M.2 Initials: Hello everyone! My system freezes during Windows startup and I can't install any NVIDIA drivers. First, the display halts when spinning window icons appear. Fans operate normally but still illuminate. Resetting the machine causes it to attempt loading Windows again. In safe mode, I can remove the driver under display adapters and mark the delete option. Restarting lets me enter Windows, though the icons freeze for 1-3 seconds before login. When I open Device Manager and select display adapters, the 3080 appears. The NVIDIA control panel lists it under system info with driver version 516.94. BIOS recognizes the card. Downloading a driver like 527.56 caused the screen to black out completely during installation. After resetting, I tried reinstalling drivers via DDU in safe mode. Experiments show drivers work without GeForce experience. RAM tested on a friend's machine functions well. On my rig, the 3080 graphics card operates without issues. I installed drivers and used it for gaming—Windows booted normally. Clearing the hard drive and reinstalling Windows didn't resolve the problem. I replaced the hard drive in a friend's system and it worked perfectly. BIOS update didn't help. Tested another screen, different cables, all outputs on the card. Power supply Corsair RM750X performed consistently. No difference when spinning dots froze. Driver installation succeeded without errors. Memory diagnostics in Windows showed no faults. CMOS battery removed, hardware acceleration disabled in DDU safe mode, driver uninstalled via Device Manager, and I set performance to maximum in NVIDIA Control Panel. Updated OS was applied. Might be a placebo, but the second PCI-E slot booted better. In Event Viewer, an error was logged: "The description for Event ID 14 from source nvlddmkm cannot be found." Graphics card runs with three separate power cables from the PSU, no daisy chaining. Testing the 3080 on a friend's machine succeeded without issues. No freezing occurred during boot. Played Escape from Tarkov; screen remained frozen but displayed green. Viewed Twitch streams—green visuals appeared. I haven't updated the BIOS since it worked fine elsewhere. Tested various cables and ports, but no improvement. No success with a brand-new motherboard despite thorough checks. Many components from my rig passed testing. Cables came from the PSU during testing. My friend's specs: AMD Ryzen 9 3900XT 3.8GHz 70MB, Gigabyte X570 UD HyperX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3200MHz CL16 Fury, Samsung 970 EVO Plus 1TB, Corsair RM750X 750W v2, ASUS GeForce RTX 3070 8GB TUF GAMING OC.

I didn’t create a Windows media install tool or use it to reinstall Windows. I followed the standard installation process provided by Microsoft.

This version of Windows is currently installed. You can access the system logs by booting into Safe Mode and opening Event Viewer. It may show helpful entries about recent events.

Sure, I can attempt another method or resend it. It appears the content isn't reachable at the moment.

It's a solid setup with decent performance, but the RAM is extremely slow. My advice is to upgrade to something faster like GSKill Trident Z. Use just two sticks (kit) for simplicity.
