Thanks! It's great that I'm already running around 30 gigs of activity, mostly just launching Windows updates.

The only alternative I've considered so far is reinstalling Windows, though I haven't found any useful information online. Reinstalling might erase all my data, and I'm unsure if I'll need to re-enter my license key.

Take a snapshot of Poolmon and ensure it's sorted by size. Capture the Tasks section from Task Manager, focusing on memory consumption.

I'll do a full restart and get that info for you. today in a few hours when my littlest goes down for her nap! thank you! There will also likely be multiple screenshots because its about a 50/50 chance that it happens when it starts up. Sometimes it starts perfectly normally sometimes it starts and has 30 gigs of usage off the rip.
