Hi everyone, welcome! I'm new to these platforms and seeking some guidance. My son uses a small Minecraft setup with a Ryzen 3 2200G (and a GPU already installed). He's experiencing an issue, so I was considering upgrading to the R5 2600, which is similar but offers better performance. I also saw the R7 2700 available for £10 more than the 2600, which made me think about swapping. My current setup runs The Division 2 and Borderlands 3, paired with a Sapphire Pulse RX 5700 XT. My son has an Asus GTX 1060 Dual OC with 6GB VRAM. Any advice on whether it's worth the change?

It doesn't really make a big difference since 2700 isn't much faster than 2600 in most games. Consider going for 3600 if you're looking to improve. Offer your 2600 to him as a trade.
