I received a fresh laptop (ROG Strix 3) and am facing a performance drop during games. I notice my 16GB RAM stays flat at around 40-50% usage, while about 8GB is locked up in standby with no free space. Clearing the standby list with RamMap resolves the issue instantly, but it returns within minutes—only lasting after a reboot or another attempt. I’ve checked for background programs and disabled Windows Defender, but nothing stands out as the cause. My old machine had the same specs and settings yet never had this problem, so insufficient RAM isn’t the root cause. I’m trying to find a permanent fix without adding more RAM or relying on workarounds. What should I do?
They noticed the same problem, it was resolved. The creator mentioned missing a step in the video and apologized. They also noted that triggers should allow switching between days indefinitely. Thanks for bringing it to their attention.
Thank you for your feedback. I’ll keep working on it until I grasp what’s happening. I’m still hoping for a more straightforward fix, since this seems like just ignoring the problem instead of solving it properly. I’m also curious about why my old system didn’t have this issue before.
