I'm currently deep in a gaming session and my Wi-Fi just drops and then comes back online via Ethernet in seconds. It's not working over Wi-Fi, and I'm really close to being too far away to fix it myself. Do you think anyone knows why this is happening? I don't want to call support yet because I'm already dealing with a lot of stress.

All the Wi-Fi and LAN connections are not functioning. Phones don’t connect, laptops aren’t working, TVs aren’t responding, and even the PS5 isn’t connected. It just stops working altogether.

Reset your router. Attempt to link with your phone and observe functionality. When you mention 'Why your phone,' it's likely close by in your pocket—the easiest option. If connection fails, obtain a new one from your provider. If it works on the router but not for you, the issue lies with your service provider, who will dispatch an inspector. Test via your computer first to confirm consistency.

It only shuts off briefly and restarts, this hasn’t happened before. Recently, my PC would show the world logo indicating disconnection, then come back online within a minute.

The specific model and make of the router you currently possess isn't provided. Additionally, the exact speeds you're being charged for under your ISP contract aren't detailed here.

It's common for new devices to experience setup hiccups. Your router might still be getting configured after installation.
