You're not hearing in-game sounds in OBS, but the recording is saved. Try adjusting your audio settings in OBS or checking if the sound card is properly connected and configured. If issues persist, consult the game's support forums or community for specific guidance.

I attempted to switch the audio output to Elgato, but I haven’t detected any sound in OBS despite having the monitor and output set up correctly.

In your references, I identified a video or image source. Click the plus sign at the bottom of the sources area, and insert an audio source.

It seems you're employing a capture card, so please review the guidelines for that tool. The approach we've taken might reduce some of its advantages.

This feature is designed solely for recording audio. It doesn't send the output to speakers. I think OBS hasn't set up audio capture for the ElGato yet, since only one source appears in the mixer—likely from the output device. You'll need to add an audio input capture source to record from the capture card. Alternatively, you can use the ElGato 4K capture tool if you don't plan to stream the captured audio.
