Hi everyone, haven't been into COD since 2013. My friends persuaded me to try it out. Struggling with graphics settings—thinking most of the stuff is outdated and my GPU might be too slow for 1440p at 60fps. CPU: Intel Core i7 4770k, Motherboard: MSI Z87, RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16GB, 1600GB, PSU: Gigabyte RTX 2070, Case: NZXT Phantom 410 Black, Storage: 250GB SSD, 120GB SSD, multiple HDDs up to 5TB. Displays: PSU, Monitor: Samsung 27" 1440p, Acer H236HL 23", IPS cooling, Noctua NHD-14.

Your processor is likely the main limiting factor.

Yeah, I’ve got my worries too… it feels like everything moved away from games. I last heard about a RAM shortage, but now DDR4’s super affordable!

I understand that the Intel Core i5-3750K experienced problems in Warzone 1.0, though it was mainly due to CPU limitations.

Your graphics card is working well, but the CPU hasn’t been important lately. You might find some great deals on parts right now. The Ryzen 5 5500 was around $90.

It might not be worth getting a new motherboard unless he upgrades his existing components.

Motherboards are relatively affordable. He’d also require additional RAM, but it’s possible to cover these costs with a mid-range new CPU.

It looks like AMD offers affordable options with solid performance—just need to hit about 100fps at 1440p using high settings.

It should be quite straightforward to hit.
