Hey, I understand the situation. Your home server has been acting up during colder months, especially when you move it to the attic. With temperatures around 7-14°C and constant 24/7 operation, it seems like a common issue. The PC is running on a B460 Asrock board with an RTX 4060, which is solid but not immune to problems. Since your cameras rely on this machine, any downtime is a concern. Have you checked the power supply stability or cooling setup? Also, look into thermal paste condition and fan performance. If it keeps crashing, maybe a deeper hardware check or BIOS update would help.

If stability matters, you'll need to eliminate two key issues: 1) an unevenly built gaming PC and 2) using Windows OS (any version). Follow these steps: a) refresh the CPU b) detach the graphics card c) if not needed, upgrade your power supply d) set up TrueNAS, ProxMox or UnRAID, or try Linux Mint, Ubuntu or Debian in any order e) think about using a UPS when power isn't steady HTH!

CPU temperatures usually stay below 71°C. I also tested booting without the GPU and the same problem occurred. The power supply is a 550W SFX unit connected via UPS. When the system crashes, it keeps running with fans active but doesn’t show any output. I’m uncertain if this indicates a power issue. I’m not confident about running the required software, as it’s all Windows-only.
