I recently acquired a used RTX 2060 Super. I’m experiencing problems where my screen goes black and the fans run loudly during gameplay or when exiting in games like Metro Exodus. To resolve this, I have to shut down the PC. The GPU temperatures aren’t extremely high—maximum around 75°C—and the shutdown threshold is about 85°C. I’ve changed the thermal paste after the first use. It seems the memory might be overheating because the thermal pads aren’t fully covering it. I haven’t checked the memory temperatures yet, so I’m not sure for certain.
