Your temperatures seem quite high. I'm running around the mid twenties with an air cooler on. It's getting close to the high 70s while using F@H. The program typically runs between 4550 and 4650.

It's a bit warm even when idle, but the high idle temps are normal. Load temperature gives a clearer picture. If you can, increase the pump or fan speeds slightly. Otherwise, consider replacing or upgrading the cooler—since you're using iBuypower, that might not be necessary. You could just leave it and let iBuypower handle it.

Based on my observations, the 5000 model tends to stay cooler. The silicon quality also matters, it looks like you have a solid component.

Temps are fine. Is the cpu idling with low clock speeds? If not, there's something causing the cpu to not idle. What software are you using to monitor temps? Some programs can cause the cpu to boost whereas Ryzen Master can show proper readings for idle. Are chipset drivers updated? Are you using a Ryzen Power Plan?

I haven't fully tested the 3000 series for long enough to really understand it—maybe a few weeks. My first AM4 chip was a 3600XT for its price. The 5600X wasn’t available then, and there was a big shortage of Vermeer chips. Looking back, I used a 36XT at 4400 with all cores off on the cooler (Le Grand Macho RT). It performed really well, Linpack certified! I sold it at a loss when I could have kept it. It feels a bit rare now. It offered more IMC than my 56X, letting me run four sticks at 1900 where the 56X couldn’t. But the 56X stays stable at 2K 1:1, so that helps bridge the gap—almost covering the difference of two sticks, though not quite. I’m always open to feedback; I’m still learning, keep improving. Both chips are early models—my 5600X came in December 2020 and my 5900X in March 2020. I’m not sure if it’s a great chip, but I really enjoy seeing how it performs. It took me some time to figure this out, thanks to self-study and help from knowledgeable forum members. Anyway, you’re right—my 5600X ran about 10°C cooler than my 3600XT.
