I recently purchased a new Radeon RX 6950 XT and it functioned perfectly when I installed it. However, upon returning home the next day to power on my PC, it displayed a grey screen. After restarting the machine and turning it back on, the issue persisted. Eventually, I reinstalled the AMD GPU software, which resolved the problem. Still, I continue to encounter those grey screens when starting up. I’m unsure what might be causing this.

System details: Gigabyte X570 Aorus Ultra motherboard running BIOS Version F.35, AMD Ryzen 7 3800X processor, 32GB DDR4-3200 MHz RAM, 850W power supply, Sapphire AMD Radeon RX 6950XT, Windows 10 64-bit.

Disable XMP and check for any problems. Noticing many discussions about this testing aspect, yet the issue persists. There are numerous posts covering it, especially regarding registry changes, drivers, etc., which might suggest a potential root cause. It could also be related to an RMA.
