I own this system for a year now and haven’t been happy with the results. I’m unsure if there’s an issue or if my expectations were too high. The Ryzen 9 5950X XFX merc 319 6900xt has resizable bar turned on. Asus TUF Gaming X570-Plus (WI-FI) BIOS 4408 with 32GB, 3200MHz, PCIe M.2 SSD (2200/1500MB), and a 2TB Seagate Barracuda HDD at 850W. I’m using an ID-Cooling FrostFlow 240mm AIO cooler. Everything seems to be set up but isn’t performing as expected. When launching games, browsers, or folders, it feels sluggish and requires a boost to start. Opening files sometimes shows nothing until the fans kick in, then items appear slowly. I’ve noticed the CPU stays idle around 40-45°C at 17°C. If I open a browser it jumps to 65°C+ then drops back down. When playing PUBG, I get 80–150 FPS at 1440p no matter the settings. The gameplay stutters and needs constant catching up. Overall, everything feels less smooth than I anticipated.
PUBG runs on just four cores. Have you tried optimized settings guides to tackle its famously slow performance? Honestly, if it feels laggy, a clean install would help—expect smooth gameplay from a system with those specs. Unless you're using an HDD, then you're really limiting yourself by the storage device.

It seems there might be a problem with your HDD or SSD. I’d run a test to check their read and write speeds, as these can greatly affect computer performance. I built a GTX 1080 and 5600X setup and experienced significant slowness until I replaced my storage drive.

It might be that the problem lies with the incorrect boot drive configuration. Unless I'm misunderstanding, your drive isn't loading properly—especially since SSDs shouldn't use HDDs.
