Open your BIOS settings and turn on XMP. This sets the single-core performance boost. It won’t support 5GHz across all cores by default, so you’ll get 5GHz only if: a. your tasks need just one core (very rare) or b. you’ve already overclocked the system.

Yes, you can likely get it to 5.3GHz or higher with your NZXT 280mm CPU cooler. Just make sure the cooler is compatible and properly installed.

You might need to boost the voltage for a steady overclock, and your VRMs could struggle with extra heat without proper cooling. It seems a 5 GHz all-core upgrade is more sensible than a 5.3 GHz on one core.
