I recently purchased a build using Black Friday deals, which means the components are quite diverse. My friend suggested I need to align memory part IDs with the motherboard to check if it supports Expo/XMP. I’m not very familiar with computers, but I managed to find the details. My RAM ID is KF560C36BBEK2-64. Unfortunately, this ID doesn’t appear on the official motherboard page at the link you shared. How will this affect me? Should I replace the RAM or assume XMP won’t work? My friend seemed to think it wasn’t a big issue, but compatibility seems important if the parts don’t match. Plus, my friend has a history of strong opinions.

It isn't mandatory to have a set on QVL, though it may assist. Early-stage platforms are still developing and can be quite unpredictable, while locked systems often depend on QVL for consistency. RAM outside QVL should function properly, and QVL entries seldom change frequently.

Yes, that's correct. You can turn on XMP and switch it off if any problems arise.
