I own a ready-made Legion T530 APR28 and I'm thinking about swapping the motherboard, but Lenovo seems to have restrictions—like requiring original cables or PSUs—that could block me from doing so.

When connectors and pin configuration match standard specifications, any ATX power supply will function properly. (In most cases, standard connectors imply matching pin layout, unless otherwise noted)

I see no reason for this to not work, worst case you will have to remove everything and assemble the PC back with the Lenovo MB
