You skip BIOS settings. Create a fresh Windows installation USB, then format the drive while installing. Windows will automatically set up the right partitions.

Here’s a clearer version:
1) Disconnect any drives that aren’t the SSD you’re installing Windows on.
2) Power off the USB device.
3) Start a custom Windows installation.
4) Wipe all partitions on the SSD.
5) Select "Next," and Windows will handle the formatting correctly.

You don't have to reinstall Windows. The drive can be transformed into GPT using the built-in mbr2gpt tool. Yes, the guide I linked walks you through everything. After running mbr2gpt, reboot to BIOS and turn off CSM.
