My profile doesn't detect my SSD in UFEI, so I changed the BIOS to CSM for recognition. I'm planning to upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11, but I'm unsure if this will succeed. My motherboard is an MSI MAG Z390 Tomahawk.

Secure boot isn't compatible with MBR. You have two options: change the drive to GPT as described, or I can back up any data you need, erase the drive, and set up a new Windows installation with secure boot enabled.

You might face an issue where the BIOS fails to identify the SSD because it is integrated into the problem.

The system starts up in Windows and the BIOS identifies the storage correctly. It won’t treat the drive as bootable since secure boot is enabled, etc.

I’m not facing any issues with wiping the SSD. My setup for GPT and downloading write bios is working fine. Right now I’m focusing on backing up the necessary files.
