I'm experiencing issues with reaching 3200MHz RAM speed on my Aorus Z390 Master. The BIOS is performing a full reset, but the problem persists. I own an Intel i9 9900K with 32GB Corsair Dominators. This hasn't happened before.
It might simply clear the CMOS instead of issuing a warning. Other possibilities include inconsistent posting with the hardware three times before resetting. Have you recently acquired the device? How long have you been using it? It seems the battery replacement didn’t resolve the issue either.
You're experiencing a full BIOS reset on your system. This could be due to recent changes like updating the CMOS battery or disabling dual-bios mode after a patch. It's also possible that the CPU or RAM is not communicating properly. Consider checking your motherboard manual for BIOS reset procedures, ensuring all components are stable, and verifying your RAM compatibility with your CPU. If the issue persists, contacting the manufacturer support would be advisable.
I saw the HIOX resets unexpectedly on my Aorus Master Z390. I also noticed the BIOS clock is off by about five minutes. Could it be related to the battery?
It seems the BIOS on your Z390 Aorus Pro WiFi has been damaged multiple times without warning, causing the PC to fail to boot unless you reset it. In your situation, a weak battery might be the issue—try replacing it. If that doesn’t resolve the problem, consider returning it for repair.
