Hi there, here are the details of your old machine: an Intel Core i5-6600K running at 3.5GHz, 6MB RAM, 256GB SSD, a 2.5-inch SATA III 6.0Gb/s drive, a 4GB DDR4-2800 XPG Z1 (four units), an ASUS Z170-PRO GAMING 2QUAD SLI/3WAY CROSSFIREX ATX ATNG 600W power supply, and an EVGA NVIDIA SUPERCLOCKED GTX 960 with 4GB PCIe. I’m following instructions to assemble a PC optimized for playing Dota 2 at maximum graphics settings. I’ve already purchased the Alienware 27-inch monitor, the Alienware 27 Monitor - AW2720HF. I’m planning to upgrade to a Ryzen 5 3600 6-core 12-thread M-series B450 Tomahawk with an MSI RTX 2060 Super Ventus. The RAM is functional, though it wouldn't work with a Ryzen processor.

The RAM should function properly because it's DDR4. However, using Ryzen 3600 at 3.6 GHz is ideal; you can stick with a 256GB SSD as the boot device. A 600W power supply is sufficient for the Ryzen 5 3600 and RTX 2060 Super.
