Hey, I just got GTA V and was super pumped. After launching it, it started lagging at around 20-30 frames per second. I adjusted all the settings but nothing helped—fps didn’t change. It neither spiked nor dropped. Why is that? My computer specs are Intel Core i5 4690K (4.6GHz), Corsair H100i, MSI GTX 970, Corsair Dominator Platinum, 4x4GB SSD, and an Asus Sabertooth Z97 Mark S Seasonic X650 with 256GB SSD. What’s going on? I really want to play this game!

How are your temperatures doing? Also, do you notice any signs that your RAM, CPU, or GPU are reaching their limits during gameplay?

Was es etwas geben, das im Hintergrund arbeitet? In den Anfangsphasen von GTA Online gab es GTXLauncher.exe, das die Leistung stark beeinträchtigte. Ich glaube, dieses Problem wurde inzwischen gelöst.

These articles offer similar performance tips for NVIDIA users. We share nearly identical specifications and achieve smooth gameplay with no issues. By configuring the maximum TSAA to double the MSAA, I consistently reach 40 to 60 FPS without needing a GPU overclock.

CPU never exceeds 60% utilization. RAM consumption stays between 6-7 GB. CPU load varies between 95-100%. GPU performance remains high.
