Not very slow at all. It should manage modern titles well. But if it were on a basic 2-player setup... maybe not enough. Still, I tested BF3 on a weaker machine, so PvZ Garden Warfare seems to hold up.
I own a Phenom 2 x4 955 Black Edition that’s more affordable than the Q6600 (really cheaper) and delivers much better performance. In Call of Duty: Black Ops, I usually hit around 60fps in ultra 1080p. My PC runs it on PCI-E 2.0 at 16x speed, while the other models use PCI-E 1.0 at 16x. Having DDR2 RAM is actually a plus, it should boost speeds compared to DDR3 or DDR4 even with slower transfer rates. Plants and zombies aren’t too tough, so I think it should work fine.
