Also the PCI lane is the 1 which is older compared to the 3.0 version, wouldn't that matter a lot?

PCI-e 2.0 should work without issues. Many cards perform well and won't cause performance problems.

Maybe I don't know for sure, but probably yes. However, the PCI port isn't providing enough power to the GPU.
