I made the Windows 10 update, but before it succeeded it kept failing repeatedly, so I had to re-download it. My storage space on the drive has decreased, so it’s not only because of Windows 10—it might be due to leftover old update files. Could you tell me where those files are located?

The old OS files remain on your computer for potential restoration. To remove them, use the disc cleanup tool, choose the option to clean up system files, and pick the previous Windows files you wish to delete.
