Your PC isn't recognizing your network card.
Hello, I have an issue with my computer. My system details are: Intel i5 4690k, MSI GTX 970 graphics, 4 GB RAM, 8 GB DDR3, Crucial 500 GB SSD, and an Asus Z97-A motherboard. Recently, I planned to upgrade by replacing the motherboard, RAM, and processor. For the new setup I selected: a MSI Z390-A Pro board, an i5 9600k chipset, 16 GB DDR4 RAM. The problem is that after installation, my computer fails to recognize network cards or my graphics card. I attempted to install drivers but kept getting stuck; I also tried using a bootable USB from Ubuntu Desktop, but it still doesn't detect the Wi-Fi card. If anyone has suggestions or solutions, I’d really appreciate it! Thank you, and sorry for my limited English—I’m not my native language.
No, that wasn't your action. You don't want to risk losing all your information. Also, the network card isn't functioning properly with the live Ubuntu version you tried.
