Hello, I'm Keoneex. My PC is not working properly—it keeps booting in the splashscreen. Here are the specs: CPU is an Intel i3 4150, fan is inside the CPU case, motherboard is Asus B85M-G, storage is a Seagate Barracuda 500GB HDD, GPU has integrated ports for VGA and HDMI. I've tried clearing CMOS, using different HDMI cables, replacing the HDD, reseating RAM, and shorting the motherboard. There are taxes involved.

Did you remove the battery? Consider shorting the CMOS pins manually or checking the RAM connections.

I removed the battery, let it rest for five minutes, and switched to a different CR2032 cell.

When the boot loop starts on the splash screen, does it display any warning or notification? Is it possible to access BIOS? Press DEL during startup until a new screen appears (see page 37 of the manual). If you reach BIOS, can you view your hard drive? Please let me know what you did recently before these problems occurred. Manual: http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/LGA1...r_only.pdf

It feels like beginning, then I see the ASUS splash screen and I can't press Del or F2 on my keyboard. I'm using American Megatrends BIOS and I've lost track of it.

You're asking about the 'can't press' issue, possibly related to key detection or keystrokes not being recognized. The system might be having trouble registering the key presses, which could be due to hardware problems like a failing hard drive. The mention of Asus and AMI BIOS suggests it's using a specific motherboard setup. Try restarting the PC or checking for any error messages in the BIOS.
