You can test the CPU on your own PC even after a BIOS update. The B450 is designed to work out of the box, while the 320A might require some adjustments.

B450 MAX works perfectly with any setup. You can insert your CPU into the machine you built for testing and it should boot. If the motherboard isn't recognized, a BIOS update might be necessary, which you can apply while the system is running on your CPU.
