I just completed setting up my parents' new PC. I upgraded and modified some components in my own machine, so I figured it was time to try one myself. When I power it on, the Wraith Stealth cooler begins spinning and the RAM LEDs light up, but I don’t see any connection to my monitor. I’ve tested both HDMI and DVI ports without success. The specifications are: Ryzen 3 3200G, MSI B450M A Pro Max Hyper, 8GB DDR4, Corsair Vengeance LPX, 240W power supply. I’ve already reinstalled the CPU and RAM, but nothing works. I attempted to clear the CMOS (read as a potential fix), yet it still doesn’t connect. If you have any suggestions, I’d really appreciate it.
Consider updating the BIOS to the latest release. However, this particular version doesn't support updating the CPU without a dedicated processor. It might be better to verify each component individually on a functional system if one is available.
Sure, I'll give it a shot. On my personal computer I have an R5 2600x, which lets me check the motherboard and RAM but not the CPU. My own motherboard isn't compatible with the 3200g.
Consider a software upgrade. Visit the company's support site to confirm if the 3rd generation version is available.
