HI, I need some assistance with my current setup. I've optimized my PC for gaming and it's now exceeding the minimum requirements for titles like Valorant, Apex, and WZ.2.0. I'm experiencing micro stutters, frame drops, and an unstable gaming experience. My hardware includes an RX 580 GPU, FX-6300, 6-core processor, 16GB RAM, and a 1866MHz motherboard with an A960D+ BIOS. The SSD is still pending, but I'm planning upgrades soon. Right now, I can't run these games smoothly above 60fps, especially Valorant and Apex. I have the recommended specs to run the game from their site, but I'd really appreciate any tips on improving performance and achieving higher frame rates.
YouTube limits your options since matching specifications is tough—even if GPUs are similar, other parts often vary a lot.
What resolution are you aiming for? The FX-6300 doesn't perform well at high resolutions.
I was trying to type in the previous discussion: Those titles require full CPU power, and your processor is definitely at its peak there. Nothing’s going to shift that. Your graphics card remains solid, since the RX 580 still performs quite well. If you search for a refurbished CPU/board/ram set (Intel 7th-10th generation or Ryzen 2000/3000 series), you’ll notice a significant improvement overall.
I adjust the resolution for better system efficiency, yet my screen still shows 2560x1080.
