Your PC is experiencing an unusual problem.
I’ve been assembling PCs for a while and usually solve issues quickly, but this one is tricky. I have an MSI motherboard which makes troubleshooting easier, yet the system shows a CPU and says it’s working fine. I’ve unplugged the GPU, but it still gets stuck on the CPU. After resetting BIOS, I reset the BIOS again and it still hangs on the CPU. I removed some RAM and then it passed the CPU but got stuck because there was no RAM. Now there’s no RAM at all, and it keeps getting stuck. I took RAM from another working PC, but nothing works when there’s RAM and it gets stuck, while RAM absence causes the problem. What should I do? Please help me.
Full details could clarify the matter. It looks like the problem might be with the motherboard or CPU, given the same outcome across different RAM options. I’d guess the motherboard is likely the issue. When you mentioned resetting BIOS, you probably meant clearing the CMOS. Also, is this a brand-new motherboard, or has your system been stable before?
Just a brief update—swapped the CPU with someone who had the same model. After putting my CPU in his PC, neither booted. Now that we’ve exchanged them back, neither is working either.
